“Do Not Forget”, as a warning, a reminder, a moral duty.

As a Chechen war refugee who grew up in safety in Belgium, I feel the responsibility to document the story of those who never got the chance. 

In this series, I portray how the Chechen people strive to find peace in their lives.

In Do Not Forget, I aim not only to remember what has passed but, more importantly, to shed light on what still persists today.
